Stop it Now….For God's Sake
Stop it Now….For God's Sake
19-year-old teenager helping her mother,
Cutting grass in maze field,
Unknown of the tragedy which awaits her.
Another bright day when she starts her routine,
Her mother working some few yards away,
That dark day was SEPTEMBER 14.
After some time mother calls out….. Manisha…..
No Response, No response at all.
A mother's desperate search for her daughter,
Made the trees, sun, air and surrounding nearby,
Fall….. Fall….
Fall due to shame as they witnessed
Something so heinous
Something so disastrous,
Something so outrageous,
That even such a thought is no less than a crime.
A bunch of wild beasts entered the field,
Could not see a glooming flower gathering the yield,
They caught, plucked and squashed her completely,
Leaving her half dead, they fled blatantly.
Hue and cry as usual, "After" the incident,
Makes me wonder,
Is this also a "new normal" to be adopted,
To live "normal" in society of predators.
How to stop this ?
Can someone show a ray of light.
I have given up on Law, Administration, Media,
All possible solutions are going out of sight.
At time I also question mother nature,
Why is 'vulnerability' a flower's nature ?
Why not provide her a stronger structure,
To fight the wind, to fight the sun, to fight the rains,
To fight all that comes in her way, without bearing any pains.
Wild will always be wild and we cannot stop them,
2012, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020 and the years will pass by,
Some will be punished, someone will lose their life,
But will this solve the problem ?
I do not see any answer coming,
Even God seems to have refused my hearing.
Regretting to send such creatures
Who are not worth living.
It seems to be a distant dream,
When this flower will blossom without fear,
Where she can smile, stand strong without dropping a tear .
When will her security be our priority,
And when will such rogues from society disappear.
