Spill the beans
Spill the beans
There is so much, so much that no one can understand,
Life is amazing from outside, but deep inside it's ripped apart,
Difficult to apprehend.
But your face still glitters with smile,
You still laugh at my cranky jokes, may be once in a while,
Why is it so difficult to convince it is not important for people to see you happy,
Every other day someone comes out with another therapy.
Happiness has now changed its definition,
It's not any more a smiling face, a stable career or financial security,
It is just to be normal in abnormal situation,
During calls, you say , "All's good,"
Now even phone understands from your voice,
What's your mood.
You are submerged in pre conceived notions,
Whatever I say, whatever I do, does not impact your emotions.
Why have you given up, you know, some flowers thrive in dirt,
Few incidents cannot determine your path, they cannot vanquish your life's purport.
You say, "everything has to happen with me only",
Not understanding, you are the chosen one, nothing happens accidentally.
Have you ever noticed your "self talking", when no one is around.
Overthinking has engulfed you and you cannot experience any other sound.
You see, there is "someone" sitting deep inside you, witnessing all the madness,
He smiles, He cries, but He cannot change anything inspite of all his greatness.
One thing is for sure that He lends you his shoulder and gives you his ear,
You can complain, you can shout at Him, He will not utter a word, that's clear.
But somehow, talking to that inner voice will give you some surity,
There is "someone" concerned, "someone" looking after us with absolute certainty.
This "someone" will not directly come to your rescue,
But your strong belief will make it possible by all the means,
All what you are required to do is spill the beans.
