Suraj Dada
Dada, when I meet you again,
Remind me from where we left.
We are not done yet,
I cannot forgive you for your well planned theft.
You knew I had fire burning me in & out
You knew I am struggling with words,
when my emotions wanted to shout
You killed my only wish of turning to ashes
You knew the the fire in me is
something I cannot stay without
And you stole that very fire
That this rutless 'world' gave me on hire
I was to pay back with equal gesture
But you didn't allow me to conspire
Dada, you are too cunning for your size & stature
You cannot steal my
Stealing is not in your culture
Calm down ?.... No Dada, I wont.
Today, this burning is giving me pleasure
I call you dada,
I know you care for me
But you have enough fire in you,
You don't need more stock from me
Let me get burned for once &
So, at the end,
Only this body turn into ashes,
not me
