Scar remains
When you are full of spirit
Fortune bestowing unexpected merit
Excited about everything around
When your happiness knows no bound
Suddenly, your smile fades,
Wrinkles between your eyebrow invades
You wonder how quickly the table turns,
When suddenly from nowhere, grief pervades
At times, I laugh it out
At times, I cry until my tears run out
Playing football with my feelings,
Life drives me crazy, in and out
I know, time heals, but the scar remains,
Sun will shine, but I am concerned
with shadow of fear it retains,
And then 'You move on…..'
Giving up negotiation, when life bargains
That scar reminds you of your true worth,
Making some pearls of wisdom unearth,
It screams, "you are easily replaceable"
Then, it kills your identity,
And blesses you with a new birth.
