Another big fat wedding in the town, 

Another father spending millions for his daughter walking down,

With her dream guy, passionate to start her new beginnings,

It was the "Biddai" time, most touching moments in all weddings, 

Leaving everything behind, except her soul,

It was difficult for everyone to console.

Shekhar, the groom's friend, while posting his pics on Instagram,

"Avinaash, dude, take us to a restaurant, we didn't enjoy the dinner program"

We were fetching paneer in sabji and sweets were was being served by the gram,

"Yes, the desserts might reach us through telegram"

Akhilesh, the groom's brother added 

I agree, "Bride's hospitality, was not as expected, Avinaash interrupted"

With a selfie, all 3 of them laughing out wholehearted.

Overhearing the conversation, Neha was devastated,

With courage she left the car, banging the door,

Hugging her father tight she said "I do wish to start my journey anymore"

She was loud enough to grab everyone's attention,

Groom and his family felt embarrassed by the situation.

"You and mumma have spend an entire year for this occasion,

Spending all your life's savings to celebrate this event to my satisfaction.

Above all, you are now ready to let go of your heartbeat to a stranger,

Every moment you invested from my childhood till I became a teenager,

Is gifted to a family, her voice raised in anger,

But in spite of all your arrangements, the groom and his mates were not satisfied,

How can you expect me to face them for the rest of my life, are they enough qualified?

Neha's father tried to calm her, convincing her not to misunderstand

Father in law too intervened by holding her hand,

"You see we don't have a daughter, so we can never understand what you go through"

"I apologize on my son's behalf" and Avinaash was apologetic too"

"Today I will not take a daughter-in-law but a daughter instead,

Who can stand up against wrong and guide us with a way ahead"

Neha finally agreed to start her journey, where her head was held high,

With values she imbibed, with the courage she accumulated but with a moist eye

For spending the rest of her life, with unknown people around,

"Sacrifice" as a word cannot suffice, her "cry" will not have any sound.

Burring all the memories forever to ash,

काफ़ी परेशान किया हैं वक़्त तूने  आज बड़ी फुर्सत से आँख लगी है ..  सोने दे  कल वैसे भी कल आएगा  बेवजह फिक्र छोड़,  जो होता है  होने दे... बस आज चैन से सोने दे... अच्छी खासी नींद लगी  कि विचारों ने अपना जाल फैलाया  उपर से अंधेरे ने अपना  क्या खूब कहर बरसाया  कोई इसे सुलाकर दिखाए  खौफ़ ने मानो सिर पर हाथ थपथपाया  मन कहता है विचारों के  बीज़ को जमकर बोने दे  और तू कहता हैं.... अब तो भैया चैन से सोने दे..... थोड़ी देर में हुआ सवेरा  धूप ने खिड़की पर लगाया पहरा  मंद मंद मुस्काते बोली  उठो, लेने आई तुम्हारा अंधेरा  वक़्त तुझे बदलना पड़ेगा  मेरी किस्मत का साथ देना पड़ेगा  आज की रात इस घड़ी के कांटे को  कस्स कर पकड़ने दे  आशा भरे ख़्वाब लिए  आज चैन से सोने दे...

Moving train, empty train  Galloping through peak hours Moments of peace to cherish But my mind has another wish Glued to my phone screen Why bother for unknown, unseen Some reels better than reality Even if, grass on my side is green This worry shouldn't explode Hence, scrolling the web, episode after episode "Look ouside", whispered the heart "Its this worry, you need to decode" But dare I divert my attention To breathe reality And experience revelation  This world of fantasy is appealing  Its this illusion that doesn't hurt my feeling More the clutter, better for my mind Coz peace doesn't want to be kind It's scary when everything is okay Seems, something has been left behind And there, station arrives Shutting the phone Hoping the reality thrives Giving my fairy world a conclusion  The moment I embrace the reality, Just to ealize, it was another illusion
