It's the name that makes me recall her

It's the name that instigates my intuition

Getting butterflies in my stomach,

It's the name that grabs my attention

Letter formation of that name hits me too hard

Other day I saw your name on the wedding card

Your name makes me remember you all the time

Hence, I delete your number again and again,

It's your name that gets you in front me,

When I scroll my contact list everytime.

If someone else, called by that name, I may not relate

I have got you stuck with that name, 

Years may pass by, we may not meet

But whenever that name is uttered

Your face unknowingly flashes by (for seconds though)

Not being in talking terms, we avoid to greet

But your name seems eternal,

It has unknowingly accomplished some undesired feat

I tell people that I am bad with names,

Because some names have been engraved too deep

Too deep for others to float nearby

Not you, your name is the culprit,

You chose to abandon me

But unfortunately, your name chose to stay with my spirit
