Change is Inevitable

 

Change is inevitable, a thumb rule

But forgotten, with every life changing module

What has started will end,

Nothing works as per your schedule

Journey to the end begins

the moment after journey origins,

Whether its birth, career, health, relationship,

Clock starts ticking, the moment one logins

However, change is not experienced throughout

Till some hurdles move you in and out

In minutes you visualize 

Your journey's complete layout

Before you are indicated "Hey, its timeout"

Nothing is still, everything is changing

At its own pace, with perfect timing

But, I cling, as if someone or something will stay forever,

At work, at home, with friends and family,

I hate to witness a "Change" coming.

Now when I was questioning this to the stars,

Dark fluffy clouds showed up 

Reminding me of my unhealed scars

"Hey, move aside, I have a question to ask

Stars, you better show your face and remove this mask"

They replied, "Even my sight is not permanent"

I am here right now and may disappear any moment

Just cherish when you see me and smile

Rather asking questions every time and missing the present

Remember, always - Change in life will remain consistent

With time, it will just become more evident

When something uncertain happens without your consent

Remember the thumb rule: Change is Inevitable

With a smile, embrace every present moment.
