Belief #03

Image
It was scorching summer of 2015,  Khalid wanted to explore an unknown desert. Located miles away from city,  Where he was deployed for work,  At evening, he was suppose to revert. Without help of any guide,  When he started his journey, Unknown of the fact where he would land up, With one bottle of water and some money, Lost his way somewhere in between,  He did not have any backup "What did just happen? How can this happen ? The way to exit was not that complex Light is escaping, I do not see any way open. How do I reach the hotel," Khalid was completely perplexed. "Sand and only sand everywhere around   My mobile battery had to give up at this very time,  When I am eager to hear someone's sound". His heart starting pouncing, He felt like a crime Visiting alone to an unknown place Now searching a way where he can be found. Calling for help, but no one to attend Expecting someone to hear his voice, Looking at heap of sand, As if they are attending...

Mamata (Mother's Love)

Image
Allen was very disappointed with his mom. She had only one eye and he thought her to be an embarrassment for everyone. In school, once she was called to report Allen's performance, He was frustrated of becoming laughingstock beyond his tolerance. "Don't you ever come with me, Mom, your horrifying face is like a curse now "Be away from my social life". Without a word her Mom agreed somehow. His attitude worsened, with years passing by, After graduation, he shifted to other town close by, When mom ask him to see her sometime, he would not hesitate to deny, He has now settled and his kids were growing, When mom gave a surprise visit,  Instead of welcoming, he started brawling, "Why you want to scare my kids with your face, We are happy here, so you are at your place, Please leave us alone" he uttered in disgrace. "No problem, Its only that I didn't see you all since long, Hence, thought to meet you, Eventually its one blood to which we all belong....

When I heard my sound !

Image
It was all of a sudden, I heard a sound, There was something which was needed to be found. Browsing internet on my phone, I took a pause, What is it that drew my attention, Felt a need to find the cause. Till I start my search there was no sound again, But, for some reason, it was difficult for my attention to sustain. What was it that made me stop browsing, What was it that made me felt a bit unpleasing, Again, the same chords started humming. This time very patiently, after closing my eyes, I felt it coming. With same frequency and velocity it was playing one tune. When I realized it was my BREATH , I somehow,  thanked my fortune. Considering the current situation, Where people are departing without any intimation. The moment when I realized, my breath is still mine, Made me realize the Giver is so Divine. My mind pushed a thought for me to ponder, Can anyone claim to wait for a bit longer. Before "that moment" comes, which it eventually will, Can't I spend a moment a d...

Making a Difference!

Image
Walking on the beach, Anand was depressed, losing all his hope, He started doubting himself, couldn’t untie his anxiety rope Lost in thoughts, his NGO popped up infront of his eyes, All time, efforts and money spent to do something meaningful, was now like rolling the dice. “What difference am I making to those parents at my old age center? Every day I have a visitor asking for help, there are so many, who are not being looked after. How will I attend, all of them, I do not have resources in abundance ? The problem is still not resolved with my NGO’s increasing dependence. The root cause still remains, Am I making any difference ?” “World is changing. Our living has experienced a paradigm shift, so has our mindset, “Parents” who are the very reason of our existence, have now become an obsolete asset. There are so many to attend and my old age home cannot accommodate everyone, It is dreadful to see role of parents changing from being a ‘pillar’ to a random ‘someone’ Considering his goal...
