When something is not working

Frustration at its peak, when something is not working 
World seems to go against, when something is not working 
Started with a toy, then clothes, friends then books,
Relationship, Job, Spouse and when your boss gave you those looks
That one question you keep asking yourself,
When something is not working.

What's wrong? Why was my teddy snatched,
Why didn't the clothes fit, I wanted this shirt that exactly matched.
Why was I never asked before my sibling for an ice cream,
Why didn't my parents allow me to choose my career inspite of my screams?

Why my date misunderstood me all the time,
Dumping my start-up, now feels like a crime.
Why is my colleague paid more?
We slog together, we have an equal score?
Why my wife cannot understand me, 
With every new set of clothes, footwear does not come for free.

Why do I have to give an explanation to my parents for everything, every time,
Why my children presume, they don't owe me an explanation for anything, anytime.
Why my laptop hangs only when I have an urgent email to send.
Why does it always take ages for my mood to amend
People who spoke for hours on phone, suddenly stops talking,
It's difficult to calm down, when something is just not working.

Getting habituated, now I feel indifferent,
When nothing works the way I intend,
Even if they do, I often ignore, 
My expectation is to get more than before,
Not realizing with my experience, 
Things will work out if they are meant to,
Why to give them unnecessary significance 
Even if they don't, with a SMILE let me otherwise pretend
When something is not working,
It's OKAY, let it go, the world will not come to an end.

काफ़ी परेशान किया हैं वक़्त तूने  आज बड़ी फुर्सत से आँख लगी है ..  सोने दे  कल वैसे भी कल आएगा  बेवजह फिक्र छोड़,  जो होता है  होने दे... बस आज चैन से सोने दे... अच्छी खासी नींद लगी  कि विचारों ने अपना जाल फैलाया  उपर से अंधेरे ने अपना  क्या खूब कहर बरसाया  कोई इसे सुलाकर दिखाए  खौफ़ ने मानो सिर पर हाथ थपथपाया  मन कहता है विचारों के  बीज़ को जमकर बोने दे  और तू कहता हैं.... अब तो भैया चैन से सोने दे..... थोड़ी देर में हुआ सवेरा  धूप ने खिड़की पर लगाया पहरा  मंद मंद मुस्काते बोली  उठो, लेने आई तुम्हारा अंधेरा  वक़्त तुझे बदलना पड़ेगा  मेरी किस्मत का साथ देना पड़ेगा  आज की रात इस घड़ी के कांटे को  कस्स कर पकड़ने दे  आशा भरे ख़्वाब लिए  आज चैन से सोने दे...

Reality vs Illusion

Moving train, empty train  Galloping through peak hours Moments of peace to cherish But my mind has another wish Glued to my phone screen Why bother for unknown, unseen Some reels better than reality Even if, grass on my side is green This worry shouldn't explode Hence, scrolling the web, episode after episode "Look ouside", whispered the heart "Its this worry, you need to decode" But dare I divert my attention To breathe reality And experience revelation  This world of fantasy is appealing  Its this illusion that doesn't hurt my feeling More the clutter, better for my mind Coz peace doesn't want to be kind It's scary when everything is okay Seems, something has been left behind And there, station arrives Shutting the phone Hoping the reality thrives Giving my fairy world a conclusion  The moment I embrace the reality, Just to ealize, it was another illusion
